Thrive & Bloom – Food for Thought
August 28 @ 14:00 - 15:00
FreeThrive & Bloom – Food for Thought:
In this latest talk, Kate Holden explores how our emotional state affects how and what we eat. How we use food to soothe
ourselves and how messages picked up in childhood continue to influence us into adulthood. Yet once we are aware of our own
food patterns, it is altogether easier to avoid using food as a crutch.
Kate is a Senior Accredited Psychotherapist, and has worked for the NHS and in private practice, with over 25 years of experience.
As always, there is no charge to attend this talk, and free tea and coffee will be served.
Spaces are limited, so please do book early. If you wish to cancel your place please let us know so it can be filled by someone else. Thank you for your understanding.
Thrive & Bloom is a non-commercial community project, inspired by the beauty of our surroundings and the calming atmosphere of our nursery. Our goal is to combine this peaceful setting with the knowledge of local wellness experts to support health and well-being throughout our community.
In our welcoming wellbeing space; The Loft, we host a series of informal talks on the last Thursday of each month. These sessions are an introduction to a variety of topics related to mental and physical wellness, offering practical advice and gentle support for dealing with the pressures of modern life.
All talks are offered for free, no charges are involved. It’s a space built on trust, where everyone’s privacy and confidentiality is respected.
