The feeling of nature flowing back and forth is never more present than during autumn. Nights suddenly draw in as cooler mornings become the norm, yet days can still be softened by the gentle warmth of the afternoon sun. And with the changing of the season our nursery changes too. Trees and plants form a mellow pattern of warming colour, with the acer in particular, treating us to its fiery display in shades of red and orange. Yet there is still much promise in every corner of the nursery. Spring bulbs, winter-flowering violas, cyclamen and hellebore share abundant displays with autumn-flowering perennials and evergreen shrubs. 

Our shop is abundant too, with beautiful pieces for your home. Our thoughtfully-curated range of ceramics, glassware and textiles is ever-evolving.  Gifts, books, stationery and local artisan produce await too, plus our own best-selling range of delightful scented products.

Our restaurant serves an array of fresh delicious dishes throughout the day, accompanied by stunning panoramic views of Rutland Water. For something simpler, choose coffee and cake, or sink into a sofa with friends and enjoy the ambience with a refreshing G & T or crisp glass of wine.
