Accepting every sunny day with gratitude in this topsy-turvy climate, we’re overjoyed to find ourselves striding (some might even say swishing) our way into the great British summer. The nursery is bountiful with bloom, and it’s a delight to see our central courtyard filled with customers enjoying the heady scent of wisteria, lavender and rose.
Our shop inspires the senses too, with many beautiful pieces for your home and garden. Here, amongst our thoughtfully-curated book selection, exciting ceramics from Portugal, Italy and Spain, and our delightful own-range of home and body scented products, you’ll also find pleasingly-printed cushions, hammocks and blankets for lazy days under the trees, with the coolest of coolboxes to keep that al fresco produce fresh.
Our restaurant perfectly captures the spirit of summer with its ever evolving, panoramic view of Rutland Water. Our summer menu features an array of fresh, new dishes, designed by our chefs, with something to tempt every type of taste bud. Or find yourself a sofa with friends and enjoy the ambience with a refreshing G & T or crisp glass of wine.
From the early morning sounds of the collared dove, to the temperate, dappled shade of the late afternoon, we invite you to spend a day with us this summer. It’ll be great to see you.
